Rubber linings
For several decades, rubber linings have been used for protection against corrosion on the steel surfaces of appliances, tanks and pipes. In many cases, these linings need to be installed in-situ at the construction site.
In view of this, we mainly use pre-vulcanized, soft, bromine-butyl rubber types characterized by a high resistance to chemicals and abrasion. Rubber linings are used primarily in wet areas exposed to temperatures of up to 100°C.
Properties
- Chemically resistant to concentrated acids, alkalis and solvents
- Abrasion resistant
- High diffusion resistance
- Crack bridging
